Deepak Chopra: Five points of business technology

Summary: Deepak Chopra says welfare, technology and business will be pure going forward.

ORLANDO - is not often hear good to be guru Deepak Chopra speaks of technologies of the information, but the founder of the Chopra Foundation deleted some tips business technology and management for CXOs.

Speaking Thursday at the Gartner Symposium ITxpo, main theme of Chopra is that technology can have a significant impact on human health and well-being.

Their well-being must be measured.

Here are five points to consider.

1 Technologies will reinvent welfare measure, quantify and offering ways to resolve the problems. "The confluence of nanotechnology, biotechnology, cognitive technology and brain computer interfaces will determine how they interact with each other and heal," said Chopra. Biosensors in the size of a coin will measure the ecosystem of your body.

2. Managers need to care and be proactive about the welfare of the employees. The argument is that if employees are not well served by nor are its clients and shareholders, said Chopra. "Stress is the epidemic of our time," he said. "Business leaders already cannot ignore the welfare of its employees and should focus on the well-being of their communities."

3 Just multitasking. "The cortical brain not multitasking." Multitasking is the only activity that gets worse with practice and destroys their relationship over time,"said Chopra.

4. Data is everything. Throughout his talk, Chopra, who works with Gallup at welfare rates and scores, had data that quantify the well-being of human and mixed in science and real analysis.

5. The technology is neutral and can be used for good or evil. Chopra said it will be essential to help the human condition, but it can also be used for things like war. The key point is that the technology is not one thing or the other. The takeaway should be noted as business leaders increasingly further reflect on the use of intelligent machines that be employment but create other opportunities. More change technology brings the largest denigration is likely to become.
